What We Do

Lexington Community Land Trust is a 501(c)3 nonprofit affordable housing organization, and Kentucky's first Community Land Trust. CLTs create permanently affordable homeownership opportunities for low income buyers that remain affordable owner-after-owner. Community Land Trusts empower residents with community control of the land, ensuring strong communities and thriving neighborhoods.

Segregated By Design

Lexington CLT recently hosted a virtual conversation with author Richard Rothstein to discuss his book The Color of Law. The screening was followed by a local panel of experts to discuss housing, gentrification, and redlining here in Lexington.

PARK DESIGN

Davis Park residents were given the opportunity to work along side Parks Department and urban planners to design the 7 acre Davis Park.
